Pine Tree Poles/Laths/Droppers

Product description

Our supplier harvest the pine poles from the Overberg District.

The “Pinus Pinaster” pine specie are used for the poles as they are more robust and harder than normal forestry poles.

Droppers and laths are sourced from the same species of Pine as the poles, but we can also supply you with Gum droppers and laths.

Droppers measure from 32 to 50 mm on the thin end.
Laths from 10 to 32 mm tapering to the thick end.
And expanded super droppers range from 45 to 60 mm on the thin end.

Common uses

Pine poles have a wide range of uses from construction to fencing and supports for various agricultural and domestic applications.

Common usage for droppers and laths are for ceilings, pergolas, carports, fencing, screens, panels, garden decoration, garden gates and much more.

HOT TIP:
You normally use 30 laths per running meter spaced close together.
20 x Droppers per running meter spaced close together.

16 x Super and Super Split droppers per running meter spaced close together.

Transported by a crane truck only.

Poles, laths and droppers are bulk sale products only.

Each pole diameter is measured at the top (thin side) and then divided into these basic categories:

(2) 50mm – 75mm  |  (3) 75mm – 100mm  |  (4) 100mm – 125mm  |  (5) 125mm – 150mm
